Why was the biblical fruit of knowledge forbidden?
It’s obvious that this story from the Old Testament was not about the ripeness
of divine fruits, but about the spiritual maturity of the man himself. Only a spiritually
mature mankind can learn the Truth – that is what the Bible conveys in a metaphorical manner.
The Knowledge of the Truth is a sign of spiritual maturity and that’s why only
the Knowledge of the Truth entitles one to the Symbol of the Truth, which is an
Ancient Contact Symbol that will prove to you that we are not alone in the Universe.

Eric, I'm enamoured with your musical work. What a beautiful expression! I'm a long-time indie singer/songwriter, recently making the foray into "new age" material. Love what you're doing, man. Hope we can chat sometime. - Ricky

Love your music! Your father was one of my teachers wayyyy back in the day (in Coupeville). I remember your name thirty years later because of how much he used to talk about you and how proud he was... So happy I came across your site. Peace, Julie

Thank you Eric,
My late husband played classical guitar and taught me to play the mandolin. We had a duo for three and a half years. I heard your music on a cable music channel and fell in love with it. It reminded me of Art and how he played. When I saw the CD A Trip Through Tuscany I went straight out and bought it and am listening to it now. I can't seem to stop playing it. I imagine I will be buying more of your CDs. Thank you for your beautiful music.

Hi Eric!
Your MySpace site brought me here. I love the "Southwest" theme. I lived 10 years in Colorado and know all about the themes you are invoking. I think I will buy some downloads. Always nice to hear your voice on the phone. We may be moving to North Bend soon from Camano Is. so maybe we could get together.
Take care my friend,

Thank you so much for being on our radio show today. Your Southwest CD is absolutely beautiful and evokes the quiet, dramatic spirit of the west. We play your music here in San Angelo, Texas because we love the acoustic sound and deep emotion that is translated in your creative work.
Many Blessings,
Cynthia

Dear Eric,
There is little I can say, except that your music moves me to tears each and every time I listen to you and the band. Thank you ever much. I would love to shake your hand and share this with you personally. I would love to know if you have a regular spot at which you play, and whether you tour.

Love what you do individually as well as together. Wish you could tour the east coast. There are plenty places that you both would be a good fit. Rams Head in Annapolis MD would be a good start/finish. Can't get enough. Play on!

Gee I didn't know. I just was handed Acoustic Evening and listend to CD all morning. Mononghela is enchanting. I've put off going to your concerts over the last few years thinking you all were just a local folk group. Can't wait until you make it back to the Tri-Cities. I've played guitar for a long time, my website is www.joewinters.net. I have one CD out. I don't play finger style, mostly with a pick. But folks like it too.

I still love your music. I was in the student gov. at Bellevue Community College in 1982 and booked you to play for the lunch crowd. You gave me a demo tape and I still listen to the music. Thank you for the music.

Thank you for the beautiful moments of music.
Yesterday I was out walking with the sky...a most vibrant blue ...and the colors of earth and cactus so pure and true and heart healing. This music "Voices of the Ancient Ones" echoed the experience I had.
I love the Southwest also...
That's a cool old train depot in San Antonio. Did you check out the very old adobes in Socorro?

Just wanted to tell you Eric, My first experience that I knew I wanted to expand my playing from just rock, is thanks to you. My father had a Nerada Guitar Sampler, and I could not get past the second song, "Prelude from the Bridal Sweet" Over 10 yrs ago I played around with it. I still have such diffaculty with that much less your others. You are the real reason I truly appriciate great playing.
Thank you Eric. and any upcoming tour info would be great.
I will try to meet you again.

I've heard a couple of Eric's tunes from Southwest on XM-77. I just had to buy a copy for my own. Outstanding work on the guitar picking and a tip of the hat to Terry Lauter for his fine work on the pedal steel.
