Eric Tingstad: Tingstad & Rumbel
- Tingstad and Rumbel
Grammy award winning artists Tingstad and Rumbel combine American finger-style guitar with beautifully melodic woodwinds.
“A Moment’s Peace” is acoustic instrumental music that speaks to the heart, stirs the soul and creates a comfort zone that encourages an appreciation for community and stewardship. Classically inspired by music from America, the British Isles and Spain, they have been delighting audiences around the world for over 22 years.
“If there are such things as musical constants in the universe, Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel must appear on any such list. Few, if any, artists consistently, through the years, have delivered such a consistent flow of quality music. “
“Acoustic instrumental music simply doesn’t get any better – period. A Moment’s Peace deserves a place on the CD shelf of any acoustic music lover. The CD earns my highest recommendation with almost laughable ease.”

- Petra Stahl
Petra grew up in the south of Sweden and at a very young age she was bitten by the performance bug. At the age of sixteen she began to study theatre which would eventually allow her to travel to countries like Italy, Russia and the Czech Republic.
While attending the University of Lund she learned guitar and started developing her own compositions. She studied voice along with acting at S.E.T.school in Stockholm for a year before she was invited by a friend to visit the Pacific Northwest of America. The visit led to her moving to and living in the Seattle area.
She has since been an integral part of building a recording studio as well as developing music for her debut album “Djup Källa” which in Swedish means “Deep Well”.
